What is being done to help this species

Even though they have tried to save this fish they can't because there is not any possible to keep other fish from eating the food we drop into the ocean. So that means their is a possibility of this fish going extinct.

Why this animal is endangered

The angler fish is endangered because it lives so deep in the ocean and they don't get enough food.

How humans impact this ecosystem

The vast muddy expanses of the abyssal plains occupy about 60 percent of the Earth's surface and are important in global carbon cycling. Based on long-term studies of two such areas, a new paper in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) shows that animal communities on the abyssal sea .In this cold, dark environment, very little food is available. What food there is takes the form of bits of organic debris drifting down from the sunlit surface waters, thousands of meters above. During its long descent, this organic matter may be eaten, pooped out, and decomposed, drastically reducing its nutritive value. It is estimated that less than five percent of the organic matter produced at the surface reaches the abyssal plains. The sea floor is affected in a variety of ways by CLIMATE CHANGE.We also impact this ecosystem especially when ships dump garbage in our oceans or when they have an oil spill.

Limiting Factors of this ecosystem

This ecosystems limiting factors include the temperature of the water, sunlight, the amount of nutrients, and dissolved oxygen content, which is the amount of oxygen gas dissolved in a given volume of water at a particular temperature and pressure. The salinity can also be a limiting factor in aquatic ecosystems. This is the amounts of various inorganic minerals or salts dissolved in a given volume of water.

Describing a food web in this biome

A food web in this biome would be, first off it starts with plants that don't use photosynthesis, then come plankton, then the fisheats the plankton, then the angler fish eats the fish or the fish is eaten by the jelly fish or the six gilled shark and then the decomposer breaks down whatever of the fish that is NOT eaten.

Two predator/prey relationships in the deep sea

Two predator/prey relationships in the deep sea are a Blunt nosed six-gilled shark and Large, fast moving prey species, numerous shark and ray species (especially spurdog), any bony fish ( large deep water hake are a major prey item), squid, crabs, shrimps, swordfish, cetaceans and other marine mammals.Another one is a angler fish eating a squid. Female angler fish eat small fish and shrimp May also feed on small squids, turtles, crustaceans, arrow worms and even sea birds while males, live off the females' bloodstream .
This is a symbiotic relatonship between a clownfish and sea anemone.

Two symbiotic relationships that are present in the deep sea

Two symbiotic relationships that are present in the deep sea are a Clownfish amid sea anemone tentacles and an Anglerfish and bioluminescent bacteria.

How do the plants and animals interact with each other

Plants and animals interact with each other because, they depend to each other .

How the weather effects the environment

The deeper you go, the more intense the pressure. At the surface, there is one atmosphere of pressure - and for every ten meters you go under water, the pressure increases by one atmosphere. When we were down in Karl’s sub at 2000 feet, the pressure was 66 times the pressure at the surface - that means that the pressure on the sub is 905 Pounds/Square Inch. Humans would be crushed at this depth (imagine what it would feel like to put a a bucket of water on your head - now picture the pressure of thousands of bucket of water pressing down on you). One way some animals have adapted to this pressure is that they have no air spaces.

Conservative attire is best for smaller towns and the interior of the country while sporty, comfortable beachwear is ideal for resort areas. When traveling to Honduras, bug repellent is usually a good idea in the National Parks and some beaches. Sunscreen is also a must because of Honduran bright sunshine and long days. You will also probably want to buy or rent a scuba diving out fit if you want to swim 6000 feet downwards and possibly get eaten by a shark or you could just rent a submarine.

Generally, you will get a better rate when paying in Lempiras but, American dollars are accepted.

There is a useful mini-bus system as well, operating out of mini-vans. In this case, YOU MUST PAY YOUR FARE IN LEMPIRAS. Many operate out of Coxen Hole, which is known to be a more dangerous spot in Roatan, avoid this area at night. The way to get a mini-bus in most instances means you should flag it down! Mini busses stop operating around 6pm and taxi prices go up at this time.

For around 40 Lempira, and before sunset, you can get a water taxi to transport you from West Endy to West Bay.
